The programme is intended for those already working in, or seeking a career in international organisations, governmental institutions, international non-governmental organisations, or in academia. For those interested, the programme may serve to further engage in an academic career and prepare a PhD. The programme will provide you with in-depth knowledge of the foundations of public international law and will familiarise you with the current debates in the field. You will obtain skills enabling you to analyse and interpret legal sources, literature, and cases, to research and develop an independent opinion on international legal questions, to clearly present findings both orally and in writing to legal specialists as well as non-lawyers, to actively participate in academic debate, and to apply this advanced academic knowledge in public international law in a professional context. The programme is ideally located in The Hague, home of many international legal institutions.

- vooropleiding (ISPAC: vereiste vooropleiding) Bachelorgraad in Rechten. In uitzonderlijke gevallen kan worden overwogen studenten toe te laten zonder deze graad, maar met significante ervaring of kennis in Public International Law.
