Applied Linguistics

The Master of Applied Linguistics at UNSW is just a professionally relevant masters level for students intrigued by the complex relationship between both structural and functional elements of speech along with its social, cognitive and cultural signs. The post graduate linguistics classes also offer a base for various practical applications including the learning and teaching of foreign languages, interpreting and translation, and providing specialized support for professions such as law and medicine.

• Honours Level or Graduate Diploma or equivalent in a relevant Field with a Listing of academic achievement equivalent to a UNSW credit average (65 Percent )
• or a Bachelor degree (or equivalent in a relevant Field with a List of academic achievement equivalent to a UNSW credit average (65 Percent )
• Plus Annually relevant professional experience
