This app is directed at students that have prior experience of theater practice for a performer, director, designer, playwright or teacher, and also will be now really just actually a distance education program. This is an innovative practice as research class integrating theoretical and technical analysis. Students take part in a performance or other theater event as playwright, director, actor or designer, and generate a short dissertation which builds on the information and knowledge gained through the practical focus on the production. Students should be able to extend their knowledge and skills in the areas of theater production, dramaturgical research, and instructional writing. There is also room over the course of study for students to help develop their own academic skills in writing, modern theoretical methods, research methodology or the research of theater history.
