Offered jointly by the University of Adelaide and the Art Gallery of South Australia, students study the collections of the Gallery, together with instruction supplied by curatorial and academic team at both associations and from national experts. On-campus classes are after-hours hours, together with tutorials and lectures held in the University, together with'handson' workshops at the memorial. Students are invited to consider issues and questions revealed in specific works of art, including their: origins and manufacture; critical reception; material makeup; mixed bundles from the heritage of taste; subject matter; put at the lifetime work of this artist that made them; and so forth. Students become familiar with the topics associated with curating exhibitions and the key questions related to connoisseurship. They'll establish the research skills necessary to explore important issues in art history, including skills in visual analysis.
