Bricklaying and Blocklaying

This qualification is part of the Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package. It is for apprentices in the bricklaying/blocklaying trade. Students will know: how to lay bricks and cubes employing distinct bonds; how to construct ornamental panels, feature walls, walls and columns; and placing brickwork/blockwork for national, commercial, industrial and public structures. Students will also know about brick/block types, brick/block accessories, glues, brick/block patterns and cement mortars.
