Bricklaying and Blocklaying

This qualification is part of the Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package. It is for apprentices in the bricklaying/blocklaying marketplace. Students will learn: how to lay bricks and blocks utilizing diverse bonds; just how to construct ornamental panels, feature walls, walls and columns; and even laying brickwork/blockwork for national, commercial, industrial and public buildings. Students will also learn about brick/block types, brick/block accessories, glues, brick/block patterns and cement mortars.
