Business Analytics

The Business Analytics Master is a two years programme, with a strong focus on mathematics, computer sciences and business courses. You will learn to combine techniques from all these disciplines to solve quantitative business problems. The Business Analytics Master has three specializations. The Business Process Optimization specialization trains you to tackle quantitative business problems with the aid of mathematical algorithms which are then implemented in decision support systems. The Computational Intelligence specialization teaches you to simulate a human brain with a computer. This computer can be used to make decisions with optimization and data mining techniques. The Financial Risk Management specialization learns you to price derivatives, such as share options, and strategies for risk management. You will deal with both practical and theoretical aspects of the discipline. Most Business Analytics Master alumni quickly find employment. Multidisciplinary professionals who are able to combine a solid mathematical background with a sound understanding of business and social sciences are rare and highly sought after.
