The department of Information, Risk, and Operations Management (IROM) has developed the Master of Science in Business Analytics program to fulfill a significant market need for individuals with deep analytical talent for dealing with the complexities and possibilities of “Big Data” in the business and organizational context. The program focuses on students with exceptional quantitative, technical, and communication skills and combines classroom experiences in statistics, data mining, and programming with functional applications such as marketing, social media, and supply chain analytics.

The curriculum for the Master of Science in Business Analytics consists of 36 credit hours, to be completed over approximately 10 months.

Admission to the full-time program is selective. We will not review incomplete applications. Qualified applicants should meet the following criteria:An undergraduate degree from an accredited institutionMathematical aptitude and quantitative and/or technical training in courseworkStrong communication skills and motivationUpper-division GPA of 3.0 or higher The program is designed for undergraduate degree holders in business, engineering, mathematics, economics, computer science, and other technical or quantitative areas. Advanced coursework in Calculus, Statistics, and Probability is strongly recommended. English Language Requirements IELTS band: 6.5 TOEFL paper-based test score : 550 TOEFL iBT® test: 79
