Students will learn how to analyse, design and build sophisticated business information systems through using advanced methods, tools, hardware and applications to successfully emerge with a multi disciplinary level that unites IT skills with business acumen. This 3 year course consists of a common center in business, and major studies in operation information systems for example firm IT development, data management, ebusiness systems, and business analysis and design. Students also have the capability to pick a minor, or electives in the business or other disciplines like accounting, logistics, international business, economics and finance. Students might choose to deepen their knowledge by undertaking other issues or a minor sequence in user systems, networking, information systems security and hazard management.

Subject to project an approved pattern of work, the degree has been accredited in professional membership degree by the Australian Computer Society (ACS). The Society has reciprocal membership arrangements with pc societies in New Zealand, USA, Canada, UK, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Malaysia and Singapore. Furthermore, graduates can apply for ACS Certified Professional (CP) status to get global recognition as an ICT professional.
