The Bachelor of Business Information Systems / Bachelor of Business is a Distinctive four-year program that Unites the Business Information Systems degree with a Business degree. Students master information systems (IS) theories and techniques, and can also complete a major in a business field like accounting or marketing.

Accreditation will be searched by the Australian Computer Society (ACS) at Professional Level (the highest level). With appropriate selection of business subjects, the program could meet up with the membership needs of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants (ASCPA).

  • Year 12 or equivalent
  • VCE prerequisites: Units 3 and 4: the absolute minimum study score of 25 in English (or equivalent) or 30 in English (EAL). Applicants without a formal eligibility may be considered for entry upon finishing the STAT test. Further performance criteria and requirement requirements can also apply. English language requirements - satisfactory completion of a few of these following: Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 advanced level level) with overall 65 percent, all of skills 65 percent
  • Minimum IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no single band below 6.0
  • TOEFL iBT (internet-based) minimum score of 75 having a hearing ring no less than 18 and writing ring no less than 20
  • Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 50 (no real skills less than 50)
  • Any equal assessment of English language proficiency. Note: A requirement for most classes, the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) can currently be done on campus at Hawthorn.
