Educational organisation

During the first semester at the HNU, the Master's degree programme in Business Intelligence and Business Analytics provides students with broad-ranging knowledge of corporate strategies, business intelligence, and information systems.

During the second semester at Universidad Tecnológica Nacional Mendoza in Argentina, students learn quantitative methods, analytical applications, key aspects of communication management, and the culture and history of the partner country.

At the start of the third semester, students carry out a research project that will help them write their theses during the same semester.

Course objectives

Graduates of the Master's degree programme in Business Intelligence and Business Analytics can support companies in choosing, implementing, applying, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. They act as the interface between a company's management and the IT department, providing coordination between these vital corporate organisations.

Graduates are qualified to work as business analysts, BI experts and managers. Moreover, with their broad knowledge of IT, analytics, and corporate management, they are also attractive candidates for consultancy firms.

Costs of living

Approx. 700 EUR per month to cover personal expenses. Non-EU citizens need an additional 80 EUR per month for health insurance.

Funding opportunities within the university

All international students who have acquired their qualifications for university studies abroad and are pursuing a degree at the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) can apply for the International University Scholarship at the International Office at the beginning of the semester. The Federal State of Bavaria funds a scholarship that is awarded for one semester.

Arrival support

The International Office offers assistance in finding accommodation or German host families, opening a bank account, getting health insurance, etc.

The orientation weeks take place over the course of several weeks before the beginning of each semester.
