After graduating, you can work in both the private and public sectors, for example with research and development, nature conservation and environmental protection. In your second year, you will complete a degree project corresponding to 30, 45 or 60 higher education credits, implying a total of 90, 75 or 60 higher education credits of coursework. It is possible to make certain changes that will allow you to complete courses during the second year. Normally, the degree project has the same focus area as your selected in-depth courses.

There are a number of opportunities to get a scholarship if you apply to the University of Gothenburg. If you are obliged to pay tuition fees in Sweden, you can apply for our scholarship that cover from half, to all of your tuition fees for the entire study programme.
There are also scholarship programmes available at bachelor's, master's, PhD and post-doctoral levels, which are administered by the Swedish Institute. The scholarship programmes target highly qualified students from certain countries.
