Clinical Sciences

This course has a strong clinical focus and gives students a comprehensive grounding in biomedical science through the analysis of the normal functions of the body and also the mechanisms of disease. Years two and one comprise foundational physiology, anatomy, microbiology and biochemistry studies. Third year students develop skills to create independent evidence-based decisions that in form other health professionals. In their final year, students undertake an honours year that features clinical trials throughout north Queensland, and Australia.
