Commercial Cookery

This qualification reflects the part of commercial cooks using a wide variety of well-developed cookery skills and sound understanding of kitchen operations to organize food and menu items. Using discretion and decision, they work with some independence and under limited oversight using policies, strategies and procedures to guide work activities.This eligibility provides a pathway to work as a business cook from organisations such as restaurants, hotelsand clubs, pubs, caf\u00e9s, along with java shops.No occupational licensing, and certification or specific legislative conditions affect the eligibility at the time of publication.
