Computer and network engineering and computer science are taught together in this flagship dual degree. You'll learn the hardware, architecture and organisation of computer technologies and communication programs, and also the software used to control them. You'll develop knowledge, skills and skills to design, implement and maintain complex hardware and software systems, and exceptional programming abilities. In the a long time, the requirement for graduates with the engineering and computer science expertise is anticipated to be somewhat large. RMIT graduates work in industries including defence, health and science, business, communication and security. This program is fully accredited by Engineers Australia. Graduates of the program qualify for graduate membership of Engineers Australia. Full membership as a professional engineer may be obtained after an suitable period of professional practice. Australia is one of 15 countries that are signatories to the International Engineering Alliance, also called the Washington Accord, to get professional engineers. The eligibility of graduates from this level is recognised in every countries that are signatories to the Accord. The computer science component of the double degree program is accredited at professional level by the Australian Computer Society which accredits information and communication technology-related apps in Australia.
