The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science accredited online degree program provides students within-depth knowledge and analytic skills associated with the field of IT and Computer Science. Students receive:

  • Comprehensive understanding of design, development, testing and documentation of a range of operating systems
  • Database management; and programming languages
  • Essential knowledge to implementing the skill into real-life situations

After completing some basic liberal-arts curriculum, students can dive into their specialty. Each course, which has been designed by an advisory board of academics and practitioners, consists of individual homework assignments and active online discussion. Class size is usually between 20-30 students from all over the world.

It’s important to note that each student is connected with a personal Program Advisor, who remains with him until graduation. The student’s personal Program Advisor acts as his/her support system throughout their studies. The personal Program Advisor will be happy to answer any questions the student may have, offer academic advice, discuss course selection, and offer encouragement throughout the student’s studies.

To be admitted into the university applicants must be 18 years old or older, provide notarized/official proof of high school completion, meet the requirements for English language proficiency, have an Internet access.

Individuals interested in applying to UoPeople are required to submit their online application and pay a non-refundable Application Processing Fee of $50.
