The worldwide construction market keeps growing, with the major drivers of growth credited to increasing demand for home and rising infrastructure demands due to urbanisation and growing populations. There is growing need for graduates having a professionally recognised qualification and an understanding of the multi disciplinary construction landscape. La Trobe's Master of Building and Engineering Management will prepare you to efficiently manage complex building, civil or infrastructure projects while implementing effective and sustainable industry practices. As well as acquiring key technical abilities, you'll have the opportunity to employ your skills via industry-based problem solving, or even work-integrated learning placements. Alternatively, it is possible to develop your research skills through a minor thesis project in your final year. Subjects with this particular course have been co-created with industry to ensure you meet the demands and challenges of the'prospective' workforce, for example environmental and sustainability training, project management and discussion, hazard management and innovative structure principles. The eligibility awarded on graduation is recognised at the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) as-level 9.
