This double degree increases livelihood options across urban and design development disciplines. The plan program embraces current industry trends, with a solid focus on Human centred design. Studio experiences provide improved design chances for industry/consumer-informed bespoke (hyper-tailored) systems, products and/or services. Students will establish visualisation expertise, effective use of subject relevant technology and develop important career self-management abilities. Work integrated learning and worldwide exchanges provide chances to network and receive first-hand industry experience. Each major is designed to deliver a flexible, innovative and work-ready graduate in a position to employ sound judgement and expertise within training within their chosen field. During the class students will undergo a selection of site visits and fieldwork which could connect the concept in assignments to regular scenarios within their chosen field of analysis.

Architecture: This course, along with the next Master of Architecture Class, has received full accreditation from the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia, and full recognition from the Australian Institute of Architects. Graduates qualify for membership of the Design Institute of Australia (DIA), the professional body for Australian designers. Interior architecture: Design/Interior Architecture Educators' Association of Australia and New Zealand (IDEA. Urban Development: The Australian Institute of Building; The Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors; The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors; The Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia; The Planning Institute of Australia.
