Core Disciplines: Mesomechanics and Computer Simulation of Materials, Modern Technology of Surface Coating and Hardening, Thin Films and Multilayer Materials for Electronics, Diagnostics of Loaded Materials and Constructions, Simulation of Ceramic Materials Based on Silicates and Oxides, Metal and Ceramic Based Nano-structural Materials.
Career opportunities include such areas: science and research, industry (developing and using of electric-discharge, plasma and beam technologies, e.g.: mineral resource industry), ecology labs.
Laboratory facilities: solatron 1260A - impedance / gain-phase analyzer, discharge installations for concrete disintegration, water ozonizers, installations for thin film coating, devices for low- temperature vacuum dehydration, technological installations based on discharge technologies for drilling, grind, cutting, boring and for recovering of heat exchangers.
