This program provides advanced level training in contemporary economics. The 4 core classes provide you an in depth understanding of contemporary thought in microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics, while the variety of elective classes enables students to acquire technical knowledge and training in a variety of fields.
- Category A: A recognized Honours degree (using a research thesis) in economics using a Second upperclass (2.1) or much better
- OR Category B: A recognised bachelor degree (or equivalent qualification) with a minimum overall average of 70 percent, as determined by the UNSW Postgraduate Coursework Entry Calculator
- Along with a leading (at the very least 7 courses) at Economics
- And completed second- or third year classes in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and mathematical economics in a minimum average grade of 70 percent to these classes.
