The Bachelor of Education offers the ability to obtain an understanding of teaching and learning in an Australian context. This amount doesn't qualify students to be teacher. Students will obtain extensive understanding of primary school and early childhood are as and the capacity to review practice and theory.
Successful completion of the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or its equivalent, like an interstate or global Year 12 qualification. VCE prerequisites: Units 3 and 4 - a study score of at least 25 in English (apart from EAL) or at least 30 in English as an Additional Language (EAL). Non-Year 12 entry: Completion or partial completion of an approved tertiary qualification (including Certificates, Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, Associate Degrees and Degrees). Applicants applying to move from another initial teacher education class has to disclose all of LANTITE attempts. Applicants with no formal qualifications but with significant and appropriate work experience will be considered if they could demonstrate they could tackle the course with a reasonable prospect of success. All applicants must demonstrate suitable English language proficiency for successful completion of their course. The University might determine selection criteria and restrictions in regard to classes to apply additionally to these submission conditions. Eligibility for admission does not guarantee offer of an area. All registered students must keep a current working with Children Check (from the appropriate State Authority). A Police Check might also be required with means of a school before to a placement.
