This nationally accredited course is designed to graduate early childhood teachers who are competent teachers able to work in schools and a range of early childhood settings. A key facet of this program is connecting theory with practice. Candidates will have the knowledge and be able to come up with early childhood educational programs for children from birth to 8 decades of age age.Partnerships with over 1,000 schools and early childhood settings allow Pre-Service Teachers to obtain experience in diverse settings, including public, private, metropolitanareas, regional and remote contexts working together with children, families and communities.In addition, a distinguishing feature of this program is that Pre-Service Teachers have the chance from the fourth year of the route to specialise and broaden their own understanding and skills in an area of interest. Components are also for sale at the level that enables Pre-Service Teachers to complete accreditation requirements to teach in Catholic schools.Final year Pre-Service Teachers may apply for a place at the internship program at either a school or early education setting.

  • University entry requirements apply. All applicants have to satisfy non-academic criteria, as well as satisfying academic entrance criteria. Applicants' non-academic skills will probably be assessed based on completion of a Non-Academic Prerequisites for Prospective Entry (NARTE) on the web questionnaire. International students must reach an IELTS Academic using an average amount of 7.5 or more, across the four components of listening, speaking, reading and writing

  • OrSuccessfully completed 0.375 EFTSL of study at bachelor degree or more at an Australian higher education provider (or equivalent).Note:If secondary education and degree studies were completed within a period of 2 years prior to obtaining enrollment in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK or the USA, applicants do not have to provide proof English competency.Applicants who've completed their secondary education in South Africa from English and have an under graduate degree educated in English from the South African University are deemed to have met English language requirements.Applicants from the Seychelles:Successful completion of this International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) grade C or above, and also an completed 4 year National Diploma.
