The Bachelor of Education (Primary) develops an understanding of education, equipping students to become teachers that utilise the latest technology and teaching tactics to participate children over a range of subject disciplines. Through collaborative type tasks and school-based pragmatic placements, students develop the skills to create engaging and successful learning experiences. Students are taught to identify and address diversity, tailoring the educational experience to the requirements of their pupils. The Bachelor of Education (Primary) offers specialisations in Mathematics and English.

This class meets the academic requirements outlined by the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). VIT recognition enables pupils to register as a teacher Australia-wide.

Year 12 or equivalent: VCE prerequisites: Units 3 and 4: a minimum study score of 25 in English (or equivalent) or even 30 in English (EAL). All candidates should keep a present Dealing with Children Check and a recent Police Check throughout the duration of the program. All applicants (both conventional entry and non-year 1-2 entry) must sit down the CASPer test. All applicants must attest suitable English language proficiency for successful end of the course.Additional performance criteria and prerequisite requirements may also apply.
