Education (Secondary)

This program prepares students with an understanding of methods for teaching, learning and preparation instructions for subjects in junior and senior years of secondary schooling. Students may have two teaching areas and be in a position to show years 7-12 in secondary schools.

This class meets professional teaching standards for the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership, and Queensland College of Teachers, and graduates are eligible to apply for teacher registration. Graduates looking for employment at different areas of Australia and over seas may be required to meet more problems.

• Pre Requisites: English, or Literature, or English and Literature, or English as an Additional Language (Units 4 and 3 ( C), or equivalent
• And General Mathematics, or Mathematical Procedures, or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 and 4, C), or equivalent.
