Study programme aims:
1. To provide the modern knowledge from the electrical energy systems engineering and related fields, necessary for specialists developing modern electric power systems, to develop ability to apply the knowledge professionally.
2. To provide special knowledge in electrical energy system engineering, necessary for application of modern technologies and independent development of new products and services, and to perform applied researches in electric power system engineering area.
3. To develop the abilities to creatively apply of theoretical knowledge and scientific investigation results, and to improve professional competence during whole life learning.
1 Semester

VGTU Scholarships
VGTU offers scholarships (tuition fee free) for students from specific countries in
Bachelor's degree:
Azerbaijan - 1 scholarship
Belarus - 1 scholarship
Kazakhstan - 2 scholarships
Ukraine - 1 scholarship
Master's degree:
Azerbaijan - 1 scholarship
Belarus - 1 scholarship
Kazakhstan - 2 scholarships
Ukraine - 2 scholarships
Students from those countries can apply for any study programme offered in English language in coresponding degree. Application procedure is handled by the Lithuanian Embassy in that country.
State Scholarships
The Government of Republic of Lithuania, aiming for Lithuanian higher education to acquire an even greater international dimension, has announced the available funding for full-time second-cycle students from Ukraine, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
- 3 students from Ukraine and 3 students from Belarus can be granted allowance to cover tuition fee and monthly scholarship (summer holidays included).
- 3 students from Azerbaijan and 3 students from Kazakhstan can can be granted monthly scholarship (summer holidays included).
