The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Bachelor of Business combines technical expertise within an engineering field of one's choice with the creative thinking and behaviours needed to become more innovative in operation practice. Complete core components on your very first year to help out with selecting classes in engineering and business. Obtain theoretical and technical engineering knowledge from engaging in workshops and industry endeavors to organize for functions in your favorite field across a selection of industries. Gain skills and knowledge of organization, management and operations to get ready for work in modern sectors. Acquire innovative and socially responsible small business skills and techniques so you can lead, develop and change virtually any enterprise, anywhere on earth. Apply your learning into a professionally focused, multidisciplinary job through your final year of study. Undertake at least 1-2 weeks of relevant experience.

Graduates are entitled to apply for graduate membership of the Institution of Engineers Australia.

  • Year 12 or equivalent
  • VCE prerequisites: Units 3 and 4: a minimum study score of 25 in English (or equivalent) or 30 in English (EAL)
  • And Parts 4 and 3: a minimum study score of 20 in Mathematical procedures. Additional performance criteria and requirement requirements may also apply. English language requirements - satisfactory completion of one of these following: Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 advanced level level) with overall 65 percent, all of skills 65%
  • Minimum IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no single band below 6.0
  • TOEFL iBT (web-based ) minimum score of 75 with a hearing band at least 18 and writing band at least 20
  • Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 50 (no real skills less than 50)
  • every equal assessment of English language proficiency. Notice: A requirement for many lessons, the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) can now be done on campus in Hawthorn.
