This class provides graduates with detailed information and comprehension of core regions of mineral processing and extractive metallurgy, for example specialised research project work and report writing. It's appropriate to people who wish to obtain specialist knowledge and techniques from extractive metallurgy and for pupils now working inside the minerals industry who wish to significantly upgrade their metallurgical comprehension with a view to furthering their careers in this field. Thus, this course can be acquired as a parttime full fee paying class, as well as on a full length basis. The Intermediate award (Graduate Diploma in Metallurgy) can be performed externally. Students wishing to complete the Master of Engineering Science (Metallurgy) externally should contact the Course Coordinator.
