English teaching

This program provides students with a professional qualification for teaching English to speakers of other languages. It's 11 subjects (the Research component is actually a double sided movable topic ) consisting of seven core subjects and four electives, studied over three trimesters. King's Own Institute works closely with other language teaching providers in Sydney to perform practicum placements, access current industry trends, expertise and resources in education methodology, and to identify resources and trends in the area. The program welcomes students with a worldwide valued skill set, enabling them to communicate and exchange ideas with individuals of diverse ethnic and linguistic backgrounds, and to learn more about other languages and cultures.

• Australian Bachelor degree (3 years) (AQF Level 7) or International equivalent
