The major in European and Mediterranean Cultures examines Europe and the Mediterranean world, focusing on regions, states and cities across time, highlighting the distinctions of their societies and cultures as well as the networks and connections that nourish them.

Departmental Honors

In addition to all required course work, a student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3, be proficient in two European languages, and write an honors thesis.
