Turn your passion for sport into a career with the Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science. Develop the skills which may enable you to improve medical, performance and fitness of both individuals and teams during training, training and information. You are going to discover how to navigate the increasingly digitised exercise and sport industry through usage of cutting-edge laboratories and technology, including wearable detectors, virtual reality and 3D investigation equipment. You'll also gain experience through industry-based entrepreneurial and research projects. Graduate ready to apply for functions such as exercise or sport scientist; trainer; or strength and conditioning pro at elite or community athletic, government agencies, clinical settings or corporate wellbeing. This class offers students a pathway to post graduate studies in clinical exercise physiology, occupational therapy and physiotherapy, and assorted research degrees.

Added performance criteria and requirement requirements may also apply. English language requirements - satisfactory conclusion of one of these following: Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 higher level) with overall 65%, all skills 65%
  • Minimum IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no single band below 6.0
  • TOEFL iBT (internet-based) minimum score of 75 with a hearing band at least 18 and writing band at least 20
  • Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 50 (no communicative skills less than 50)
  • Any other equivalent assessment of English language competence. Notice: A prerequisite for several classes, the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) can now be done on campus in Hawthorn. Dealing Together with Children Check: All candidates need to keep a current Dealing Together with Children Check during the duration of the program. Medical Certificate: A current medical Certificate/CPR certificate is necessary prior to undertaking any positioning units.
