From short and documentary narrative fiction, to more experimental productions, Deakin's Bachelor of Film, Television and Animation enables you to research story telling onscreen through multiple practices and roles, while developing your specialist set of skills within the energetic areas of screen production and monitor culture. You'll work collaboratively with like minded students on real-world briefs and draw from the expertise of teachers that are active and well-connected in industry.You'll have access to industry-standard facilities and equipment for example a high profile television broadcast studio, green screen studio, and grading rooms and utilization of the RED EPIC cameras. By the time you graduate, you'll have a working portfolio, both budding professional network and invaluable insider knowledge to give you the competitive advantage future companies are searching for.Bring storytelling into the monitor through a number of production and post production roles and methods. Through this course, you will research: cartoon for screen; digital cinematography; editing; picture analysis; picture history; highdefinition air TV studio production; script-writing; short filmmaking; sound design; studio and location production; the work of freelancer work; along with visual vocabulary. Additionally you will learn the art of story telling in 2D and get into Deakin's 3 d cartoon app. Gaining a broad knowledge of moving image, animation and graphic exercise, you will develop creative and clever ways of manipulating and animating pictures. Working collaboratively with like minded students on real industry briefs, you will graduate with a functional portfolio.
