This qualification describes the knowledge and skills for food processing workers employed in these sectors:grain processing (like stock feed, animal feeds, grinding wheat, barley, oats and wheat milling) baking (including large scale production of cakes, pastry, bread, biscuits and plant dried )Re-Tail bakingbeverages (including juices, carbonated drinks, cordials, aerated but still waters, energy drinks as well as other modified beverages, such as vitamin and antioxidant beverageslike coffee, tea and ice hockey ) confectionery dairy processing fruit and vegetables grocery store products and provides (including honey, jams, spreads, sauces, dressings, condiments, spices, edible fats and oils and wheat )poultry.This qualification is designed for production related roles which require use of industry specific skills and knowledge across a range of procedures, including a few technical and problem solving ability. It caters to multi-skilled outcomes and roles which include team leader functions within the manufacturing environment. All work must be carried out to conform to workplace procedures, in accord with State/Territory food safety, work health and safety and environmental guidelines, laws and regulations that connect with this workplace.No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to the qualification during time of publication.
