This qualification targets those in technical and supervisory functions covering product development, food safety and quality, food production and supply, environmental functions, and the maintenance and tracking of food processing systems. The occupation functions require specialist technical skills and knowledge in food technology and science to complete routine and non-routine activities and functions, and workers have responsibility for his or her functions and outputs, together with limited responsibility for its output of others.This qualification provides an optional specialisation in Food Safety Auditing. Users interested in this option must consult with relevant state, territory and Commonwealth food safety legislation and the National Regulatory Food Safety Auditor guide line and Policy for details of auditing requirements at low, medium and insecure preferences, and to comprehend that the food safety auditing work context.Legislative and regulatory conditions affect food safety and so therefore are enforced through state/territory authorities.
