- Occupational Health and Safety major: An Finished recognised Bachelor Degree (or higher) in any discipline
- Environmental Health major: An Finished recognised Bachelor degree (or higher) in any discipline
- And Also at minimum of 48 credit points (equivalent of 1 semester full time study) of science units that were completed at the Bachelor's degree level and must include: 12 credit points (1 ) subject) of Base chemistry
- And 3-6 credit points in other science Fields (e.g. microbiology, physics, anatomy and physiology, life science)
