This program is for students trying to build up a career in Human Resource Management. You start with the core base knowledge needed for all managers, it goes on to offer the chance for students to create knowledge focused on HRM. The program includes students in a diverse mixture of academic backgrounds ranging from engineering, humanities and science to management and business in a way that facilitates dynamic multidisciplinary creation and exchange of thoughts. The principal aim of this course will be to equip students with the tools and skills necessary to create thoughts, to lead also to manage organisational human resource management activities round corporate, government and not-for-profit sectors, and in small, medium and large scale businesses.
The Master of Management (Human Resource Management) is accredited by the Australian Human Resources Institute. Professional registration might require an application to the professional body and might have additional or continuing requirements beyond the completion of this amount. - An Australian Bachelor's degree in any discipline or an approved equivalent qualification
- Admission may be granted to applicants with no undergraduate degree but with 5 or more years' relevant work experience
- International students must meet both academic and English language requirements
- NB: Fulfilling minimal prerequisites does not guarantee an offer of a place
- Entry in to all La Trobe classes is based on competitive selection and there might be limited places available.
