MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management draws on the expertise of our management faculty as well as experts in innovation, entrepreneurship, technology and sustainability to provide a uniquely Imperial view of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The programme is paperless and uses state of the art teaching methods in order to provide students with a rich and interactive learning experience. All course materials will be delivered in electronic format on an iPad.

In the current global economic environment there is a pressing need for students to learn how to manage in dynamic, uncertain and entrepreneurial environments. The MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management consists of three distinct phases to meet this need.

The Management Core (Autumn Term) provides a solid foundation in general management principles.

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Core (Spring Term) draws on core strengths of Imperial College Business School, teaching students to manage successful outcomes in order to create, deliver and capture value from innovation.

The practical Business Applications in the Summer Term provides students with valuable experience of applying the theories they have covered in the Autumn and Spring to practical settings.

Candidates that fail to successfully complete this degree are not entitled to a Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma.

MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management is an intensive and demanding programme for students with potential or proven experience to succeed in the areas of innovation or entrepreneurship.Admission to the MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management programme is very competitive and the selection committee will pay close attention to all aspects of your application, with particular focus on the following criteria:ALL applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency by meeting one of the following standards:GCSE, IGCSE, GCE ‘O’ Level English or equivalent at grade B or aboveCambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) at grade B or aboveIELTS (academic): A minimum score of 7.0 with a minimum score of 6.5 in writing and speakingTOEFL (internet based): A minimum overall score of 100, with a minimum score of 24 in writing and 24 in speaking.International Baccalaureate (IB) English at grade 5 or above (either Subsidiary or Higher)Successful completion of the Business School's Pre-Sessional English CourseNote:Our English language requirements are applicable to Home, EU and Overseas students.TOEFL and IELTS scores will only be valid if they are less than two years old on the programme start date.You may submit your online application prior to receiving your IELTS/TOEFL scores.Our English language requirements are higher than the minimum standard set by Imperial College.Waivers will only be considered if the following criteria are met:• You are studying, or have completed, your entire degree in one of the following countries: Australia, Canada, Guyana, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom, United States of America, West IndiesAND• You have an expired IELTS or TOEFL test which meets the score requirements listed aboveAND• You perform well at interview with the School’s English language teacherInterviews will be conducted after a final decision is made on your application English Language Requirements IELTS band: 7 IMPORTANT NOTE: Since April 2014 the ETS tests (including TOEFL and TOEIC) are no longer accepted for Tier 4 visa applications to the United Kingdom.
