Description
The Major in International and Comparative Politics provides a sophisticated understanding of the allocation of ideas and resources across nations and societies.
The complex relationships between the national and international, the local and global, the corporate and civil, offer exciting new challenges to students interested in politics in a rapidly changing world.
Students of the major can also choose between three tracks: World Politics, European and U.S. Politics, and Development and Human Rights.
Honors ProgramsThe ICP program offers two distinct Honors programs in International Relations (IR) and in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE). In the effort to encourage students to interlink differing disciplines outside ICP, IR Honors emphasizes History, Geopolitics and Conflict Management/ Resolution while PPE honors focuses on political philosophy, political economy and international politics. Students should consult their advisors for details as to which Honors program would best suit their academic interests and course of study.
