The courses of the MSc International Finance programme are arranged in a modular structure.The modules are in line with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). A successfully completed programme (three semesters) comprises 90 ECTS credits (30 per semester).
Forms of assessment are written and oral examinations, papers and presentations.
Course objectives
Our mission is to qualify students to become experts in the international financial world and to prepare them for top positions in finance departments within globally active companies, banks and other financial institutions.The rigorous curriculum delivers a thorough grounding in financial principles and theory, while providing practical applications to the world of international finance.
The programme has been evaluated and accredited by a competent accreditation authority (ACQUIN).
Language requirements
Applicants must provide proof of their English language skills:TOEFL with at least 213 points (computer-based) or 79 points (Internet-based) or an equivalent test (CAE, CPE, FCE, BEC Vantage, IELTS with at least 6.5 points, APIEL with at least grade 4, TOEIC with at least 785 points or an undergraduate degree from an English-speaking programme)
Applicants do not need to provide proof of their German language skills.
Academic requirements
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business, economics, management or business law from a national or international institution of higher education.The degree must show evidence of above-average examination results (an average grade of at least 2.3 on the German scale or equivalent).
