The module-based Master's programme "Internationales Personalmanagement" is comprised of one year of theoretical study at Hof University of Applied Sciences and one year of practical industry training. It will enable our graduates to deal with complex and important tasks regarding human resource management, especially in foreign branches of German companies. Thereby they will act as cultural ambassadors for their parent company.
The theoretical phase comprises the following modules:

Economic framework of human resource management

Psychological basics of human resource management
Organisation and process management
International human resource management
Suitability diagnostics and performance measurement
Personnel management and coaching
Competence management and innovation (organisational learning, human resources development, process design)

Legal framework of human resource management (labour law, safety at work, data protection)
International buyer behaviour
Process management and re-engineering
Product and service design
Production execution and logistics
Trends in supply chain management
Compliance and ethics
Colloquium on new developments in human resource management

Educational organisation
The standard period of study is four semesters. The first two semesters provide practice-oriented education (case studies, working in labs, excursions, expert meetings...).The third and fourth semesters are spent working as an intern in a human resource department to gain more practical experience. The practical semesters also include one module each. The Master's thesis is written during the fourth semester.
After successful completion of the programme, Hof University of Applied Sciences awards the academic degree Master of Business Administration.
If students want to study part-time, the period of study is six semesters.
Internships
The third and fourth semesters are spent working as an intern in a human resource department.Course objectives
The programme prepares students for demanding tasks in human resource management. Graduates will be qualified to work as a human resource manager in a foreign branch of a German company or a German branch of a foreign company.Language requirements

Rent for a single room in a student residence is approximately 250 EUR plus additional costs for electricity. Rent for a private one-room apartment is approx. 300-400 EUR plus additional costs for water, heating, and electricity.
