The job of Journalism is recognized globally for its quality and invention, including bases in literary conventions with emerging media trends. Students are trained in newswriting, broadcast coverage, photography, media rounds and industries, digital publication and design, media law and ethics. Students can undertake specialised subjects like Foreign Exchange; Fashion, Travel and Sport Writing; Multimedia Production; Photo Journalism; Creative Non Fiction and Fiction Writing; Social Networking Marketing and Citizen Journalism. Bond is devoted to maintaining strong industry connections, with lots of assessment activities linked to real world publication outcomes including online publications. Students may have the opportunity to report for local, national and worldwide media outlets throughout their degree and also certainly will undertake internships in Australia or globally in places like New York, Washington and London. The job of Laws prepares students for a lifetime career as a legal practitioner, both within Australia and overseas.
