This program aims to present students with an understanding of socio-legal theory, policy creation and the relevant abilities necessary to function in or together with authorities. The class combines theory with increased practically oriented units. Study begins with foundational classes in law, law and socio-legal theory. Students may then tailor their study through optional units to focus on policy regions of interest such as crime and justice, medicine and law, international law, or governance. Students may also opt to take on an investigation option which will provide a pathway to research studies, or to high level research roles at job.
- Successful completion of the UWA Juris Doctor or equivalent
- or Even a UWA bachelor degree in a cognate area with a weighted average mark of 65% or Less equivalent
- Or successful completion of the Graduate Diploma in Law, Policy and Government with a weighted average mark of 60%
