The programme offers you intensive training in research methods and techniques. You will learn to study and critically assess existing perspectives, theories and academic literature. You will explore the disciplines of psychology, socilogy and anthropology, but also marketing, economics and business innovation. Your future position is likely to be within sport associations, consultancy and engineering agencies, event organisations or within state, provincial and local authorities. Examples of professions are: academic and applied researcher, consultant, lecturer, leisure policy developer or project manager. You'll investigate and expand the scientific foundations underlying the exciting world of leisure.
