- Major requirements: Select 15 credit hours total, including your electives and “outside” courses. BUS-J 501 is required for majors and minors. Only 1.5 credits in Kelley International Perspectives (KIPs) or 3.0 credits in GLOBASEcan count toward the management major.
- Major electives: Select at least five elective courses.
- Outside courses: Select any four additional courses from the outside courses listed below.
- Minor requirements: A total of at least six credit hours are required. BUS-J 501 is required for minors.

Requirements
- You must take the GMAT or GRE before submitting your application.
- We require a minimum internet-based TOEFL score of 100; 600 on the paper-based TOEFL; or band 7.0 on the IELTS at the time of application in order to be eligible for admission
- Letters of reccomendation. Your recommender should be someone who can comment meaningfully on your professional performance. A current or recent supervisor is preferred. Utilize our Online Recommendation System (also found on the 'Department Information' tab in the application) to provide your recommender’s information. Recommenders are strongly encouraged to use the online process, but instructions are provided within the online system for those who prefer to provide a hard copy of their recommendation. Recommendations are also due by the application deadline.
- Download the essay questions and upload your responses in a single file on the 'Department Information' tab in the application. We encourage you to be honest, informative, creative and concise.
- We require a scanned copy of the official transcripts from every college or university you have attended. The scanned documents must be clearly legible and sized to print on standard 8½-by-11-inch paper. Transcripts for study abroad programs or transfer credits are not required if the course titles, grades and credit hours are included on the transcript of the degree-granting institution. If your transcripts are in languages other than English, also submit translated versions. You do not need to submit hard copies of academic records when you apply. If you are offered admission and accept, you will be required to submit hard copies at a later date.

Scholarships
Merit Aid
More than half of our students receive merit aid, with awards ranging from $10,000 to full tuition. There’s no need for an additional application—all merit aid, including assistantships, is awarded through the admissions process. Please apply by the Priority deadline (second round) for best consideration.
We base merit-aid awards on the following criteria, without regard to financial need:

Dean’s Fellowships
Dean’s Fellowships—providing two years of full tuition—are awarded to students who are truly exceptional in terms of their total profile including work experience, test scores, undergraduate performance, leadership potential and admissions interview. Dean’s Fellows have access to the dean and members of the Kelley Dean’s Council, a group of leaders from some of the most important companies in the world.
Forté Fellowships
The Forté Foundation’s mission is to increase the number of female business leaders and to support their careers through business education and networks. Female students named Forté Foundation Fellows receive either a full- or half-tuition fellowship award for each of their two years in the Kelley MBA Program.
Global Fellowships
Through the Kelley Full Time MBA Program, eligible candidates are offered Global Fellowships of $25,000 to be used toward tuition and fees during each of the two years in the program. Preference is given to students from Latin America or with a direct Latin American connection such as knowledge of Spanish, Hispanic ancestry, nationals from Latin American countries or work experience with Latin American companies.
Kelley School of Business Merit Fellowship
Students demonstrating strong academic skills and leadership abilities are eligible for awards ranging from $10,000 to $25,000 per academic year. Awards given to first-year students are renewable for their second year in the program.
Kelley MBA Graduate Assistantships
Over 150 of our students receive graduate assistantship (GA) appointments each academic year, renewable for the second program year. If you are awarded an assistantship, you will work 5 or 12 hours a week with professors and staff within the Kelley School of Business. GAs receive partial fee remission and a monthly stipend over the nine-month academic year. The total value of the two-year GA award ranges from $10,350 to $34,150.
