The core areas are mathematical relativity and mathematical quantum physics. The University of Tübingen has strong research groups both in the mathematics and physics departments. Within these areas, specialisations, e.g., in analysis, geometry, numerical analysis, theoretical physics, or computational physics, are possible.

Educational organisation
