By mixing studies in mechanical engineering and bio technology, you're going to be designed to manage technical and professional challenges in this expanding field. As an RMIT mechanical engineering and bio technology double degree student you'll grow the skills required for the preparation, design, evolution and advancement of machinery used in everyday life. You're going to be armed with skills in cognitive engineering, industrial microbiology, molecular agriculture and bioinformatics; and also learn about the regulatory, legal and ethical issues within biotechnology. You're going to be prepared for the workplace via handson knowledge from our well-equipped labs, project work and work experience in industry. Careers can be found in design, manufacturing and testing from government and business organisations. Critical opportunities are anticipated in processing industries such as fermentation, food, cell goods, and offenses both in Australia and over seas.
- Present Year 12 prerequisite components 3 and 4-a study score of 25 in one of Mathematical techniques (some other ) or Specialist Mathematics
