The Bachelor of Media and Communication / Bachelor of Company gives students with knowledge and skills needed for a lifetime career that encircles the challenging and lively area of media and communication and the company industry. By undertaking this double degree, graduates should be able to capitalise on chances in both businesses.
- Year 12 or equivalent
- VCE prerequisites: Units 3 and 4: the absolute minimum study score of 25 in English (or equivalent) or 30 in English (EAL). Additional performance criteria and requirement requirements may also apply. English language requirements - satisfactory completion of a few of these following: Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 advanced level degree ) with overall 65 percent, all skills 65 percent
- Minimum IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0
- TOEFL iBT (web-based ) minimum score of 75 with a reading band a minimum of 18 and writing band a minimum of 20
- Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 50 (no real skills less than 50)
- Any equal assessment of English language proficiency. Note: A necessity for a lot of classes, the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) can now be done on campus at Hawthorn.
