Nutrition and Dietetics

Dietetic professionals have been engaged in the prevention and treatment of a wide variety of nutritional supplements, food and diet related health issues. This program provides the knowledge, skills and professional practice experience required for competent nutritional therapy and care of groups as well as individuals. It is directed in preparing the grad student for a healthcare professional during the evolution and practice of nutritional supplements, clinical, health education, community health and research skills. Students will have work training and experience in all environments such as hospitals, community health centres, and food providers. These working surroundings are available around the season and some expert placements might want to be taken out semester intervals. Places to get dietetic education and training are limited with the availability of skilled practice placements and are therefore, competitive.

This course has an early closure date to submit applications by the 31st October of every year. Applicants must satisfy each the following criteria: A) a completed bachelor level B) at least a single unit in chemistry C) a minimum of one unit in human chemistry D) second year degree level study in biochemistry (year long ) E) second year degree level study in human anatomy (year long ) F) four level level units in nutrition and food science A Supplementary Application Form must be completed as part of your application you need to add a 500 word statement and two referee reports.
