The Master of Palliative Care in Aged Care intends to provide the ability for individuals from some professional background that are employed in palliative care or elderly care to deepen and extend their knowledge base in palliative care in aged care inside a global context and also to handle special demands within their practice and employment. In addition, it intends to provide the opportunity for students to develop as investigators that can communicate research signs to practitioner communities.

  • Applicants must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in a health-related discipline and have at least 2 yrs' full time equivalent clinical participation in medical care, aged care or a related field
  • or maintain the Graduate Certificate in Palliative Care, or the Graduate Diploma in Palliative Care in Aged Care, or the Graduate Diploma in Palliative Care from Flinders University or equivalent qualification.
