This qualification reflects the function of pastry chefs using a wide range of well-developed patisserie skills and solid understanding of kitchen operations to generate patisserie products. Working with discretion and judgement, they utilize some freedom and under limited supervision using plans, policies and procedures to guide work activities.This eligibility provides a pathway to operate in many organisations where patisserie products are prepared and served, for example patisseries, restaurants, hotelsand catering operations, clubs, bars, caf\u00e9s and coffee shops.Possible job names include:pastry chefpatissier.No occupational licensing, and certificate or specific legislative requirements affect this eligibility during that time of book.
