Prepare and serve espresso coffee

This unit is part of the Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Training Package. It deals with the skills and knowledge needed to extract and serve espresso coffee beverages using commercial espresso machines and grinders. It needs the capacity to counsel clients on java beverages, select and grind coffee beans, prepare and assess espresso coffee beverages and also to utilize, clean and maintain espresso machines and grinders. It applies to some hospitality business which serves espresso coffee beverages, including pubs, restaurants, pubs, nightclubs, function and event places.
